Are you disabled creating a substantial barrier to employment?
Are you a disabled veteran or the son, daughter or spouse of a disabled or deceased veteran?
Are you 21 years old or less with a high school degree or GED working part-time?

If you answered YES for any of the previous questions, contact us to learn more how you can access government funding to pay for part of all of your computer training program.

Currently employed, what are my financing options?

Educational Loan Programs. These are special financing programs designed specifically for career training. They provide funds for tuition, books, lab fees and testing. Complete preliminary loan application [PDF] to begin the process.

You Need an Education Sponsor. 85% of all student need a a co-borrower to secure an education loan. You will need to involve someone among your spouse/family/friends who wants to see you succeed and help you achieve your education and career goals. An Education Sponsor would be a co-borrower on your financial loan application and essentially applies their credit rating towards your financial aid status. As you begin looking at educational options and programs, it is critical that you involve your Education Sponsor from the beginning. Your sponsor will be much more likely to support your educational investment if they have visited the school and spoken directly to school officials along with you. Do I really need an Education Sponsor?

Employer Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement. If you are currently employed, check with your employer to see if they offer any kind of tuition assistance or reimbursement programs. This could be a great source of financing, but be sure to check on any penalties or on-going employment demands.

Contact your New Horizons Education Consultant for help you decide which financing program is available for you.
