Why you should get certified
Microsoft Business Certification specifically targets workplace demand for 2007 Microsoft Office skills. By becoming certified, you can prove to employers, colleagues, and yourself that you have the capabilities to take advantage of the most up-to-date technologies that the 2007 Microsoft Office system has to offer.
The new Microsoft Business Certification program features a series of verifications that provide a simple framework to qualify your expertise. And you can get certified in a wide variety of skills—not only the most used Microsoft Office applications, including Word 2007, Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Access 2007, and Outlook, and the new Windows Vista operating system—but also for specific job functions such as managing budgets and presentations.
With the Microsoft Business Certification credential, the benefits of certification are better than ever. If you successfully complete and pass an exam, you can become a member of the Microsoft Certification Program and receive an access code to a private Web site. From there, you can access your certification logo so that you can display it in your business communications and resumé; you can print transcripts to demonstrate proof of certification; and you can receive a certificate that verifies your successful completion of the exam.
Certification has business value
By specifically addressing the need for 2007 Microsoft Office skills, the Microsoft Business Certification program is an important tool that you can look for to help simplify your hiring process. Once an employee is hired, certification is also a strong indicator of job performance.
